• Covenant Presbytery is one of 78 regional divisions of the Presbyterian Church in America, a denomination that strives to be faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission.   • Ministers Recently Welcomed Into Presbytery

    • TE Jon Beane's examination and transfer from Savanah River's Presbytery was sustained and he has accepted the call of Covenant Presbyterian, Greenville, MS to be their Pastor.
    • TE Brandon Davidson's examination for ordination was sustained and he has accepted the position of Assistant Pastor, at Christ the King in Joplin, MO.
    • TE Jonathan Keenan's examination for ordination was sustained and he has accepted the position of RUF Campus Minister, at The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN.

  • Other Ministry Transitions

    • TE Ed Eubanks was released from Covenant Presbytery and transfered to South West Presbytery with thanks for his faithful labors at Hickory Withe and support for his new call as Pastor of Dove Mountain Presbyterian Church.
    • TE Jason Edward's pastoral relationship with Grace Presbyterian Church in Starkville, MS was dissolved.
    • TE Clay Harrington was released from Covenant Presbytery and transfered to South East Presbytery (EPC) pending acceptance by that presbytery.
    • TE Doug Barcroft's call from Assistant Pastor to Senior Pastor of Hickory Withe PCAwas unanimously approved.
    • TE Kevin Hale's call from Church Planter to Senior Pastor of Christ Church in Conway, AR was unanimously approved.

  • Candidates Coming Under Care and Licentiates

    The following men came under care of Covenant Presbytery and are candidates for gospel ministry:

    • Dr. Jay Bruce's examination for licensure was approved and he is approved to preach the gospel within the bounds of Covenant Presbytery.
    • Mr. Marshall Jacks was received as a candidate under care of Covenant Presbytery and an intern with TE Ted Wenger serving as his mentor.`
