• Covenant Presbytery is one of 78 regional divisions of the Presbyterian Church in America, a denomination that strives to be faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission.   • Ministers Recently Welcomed Into Presbytery

    • TE Johnathan Sadler's examination and transfer from Southeast Alabama Presbytery was sustained and he has accepted the call of Grace Presbyterian Church, Jackson, TN to be their Pastor.
    • TE Dawson Beane's examination for ordination was sustained and he has accepted the position of Campus Minister for Reformed University Fellowship, on the campus of UT-Martin in Martin, TN.
    • TE Raun Swafford's examination for transfer as a pastor in the Missionary Baptist Denomination was sustained and he has accepted the position of Pastor, at New Beginning's Community Church in Memphis, TN.

  • Other Ministry Transitions

    • TE Les Newsom has accepted the call to be the Area Coordinator for Reformed University Fellowship in the MidSouth Area (Alabama, Mississippi, West Tennessee, and Arkansas).
    • TE Kurt Cooper's pastoral relationship with Lawndale in Tupelo, MS was dissolved and he has transferred to Warrior Presbtyery.
    • TE Randy Rhea was released from Covenant Presbytery and transferred to Mississippi Valley Presbytery pending acceptance by that presbytery.
    • TE Rob Thacker was released from Covenant Presbytery and transfered to Nashville Presbytery pending acceptance by that presbytery.

    The following men came under care of Covenant Presbytery and are candidates for gospel ministry:

    • Mr. Tyler Godwin was received as a candidate under care of Covenant Presbytery and an intern with TE Tim Starnes serving as his mentor.
